Flowers, soft toys and jewellery appear to be the usual presents of choice but one gift the couple received on Bondi Beach stood out: a bunch of carrots.

Earlier in the morning, the pair visited Sydney's iconic Bondi Beach where they met with members of the OneWave surfing community.

Harry, who has said he sought counseling in his late twenties to deal with the grief of losing his mother Diana, served in the British Army and campaigns to provide mental health help for soldiers who need it.
