  • Nokia 8.1 Spotted On Geekbench Before Launch

The new Nokia 8.1, recently emerged on the popular benchmarking platform before the official launch, was discovered for the first time by the AndroidPure magazine. If you were expecting the Snapdragon 845, you may have to wait for the Nokia 9 or maybe a Nokia 8.1 Plus if there is anything like that as the Nokia 8.1 is powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset. Interestingly, the Nokia smartphone already runs on the latest Android Operating System.

HMD Global has slashed prices of select smartphone models in India, with entry-level models receiving price cuts between Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 1,500, and the Nokia flagship seeing its price slashed by Rs. 13,000. Geekbench results also reveal that the device has 4 GB of RAM.

The new 10nm Snapdragon 710 SoC on the Nokia 8.1 will come accompanied with 4GB of RAM. So if Nokia speeds up the processor the score would improve considerably.

The most recent was the Nokia X7 or the Nokia 7.1 Plus. Four Cores have a frequency of 2.2 GHz and the other four of 1.7 GHz. The Nokia 7.1 has a 3,500 mAh non-removable lithium-ion battery and supports fast charging. The smartphone comes in three memory configuration: 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage, 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage, and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage.

However, Nokia is yet to comment about the leaked device.
