Federal Bureau of Investigation probing American woman's death on Aruba-bound cruise ship

A woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances aboard a Princess Cruises ship sailing in the Caribbean on Tuesday, the cruise line said. It's the ship that [British TV station] ITV used for their show The Cruise. That's where police boarded the ship after the incident was reported.

The cruise line was "cooperating fully with the investigating authorities, including the FBI, WPLG-Ch. The cause of death is not yet known at this time", Princess Cruises said in the statement. The woman's name wasn't immediately released.

The woman died on the Royal Princess during its seven-day voyage from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to Aruba, Princess Cruises confirmed to Fox News. Police officers and forensic specialists are investigating the possibility she was deliberately killed during an altercation with a man, Aruba's Diario stated. "The investigation is still going on today", the statement read. The FBI has since joined the investigation.
