Canadian actress Sandra Oh and USA comedian Andy Samberg will co-host the 2019 Golden Globe Awards in January, organizers said in a statement on Wednesday.

In an announcement on Wednesday, NBC Entertainment co-chairmen Paul Telegdy and George Cheeks called Oh and Samberg the "perfect choices" for the prestigious event.

'Both Golden Globe Award recipients have continually showcased their talents in film and television, and we can't wait to see what their undeniable chemistry will bring to the Golden Globes stage'.
