Galaxy is located at a distance of three million light years from Earth.

The NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope has captured a striking portrait of the Triangulum Galaxy, displaying a full spiral face aglow with the light of almost 25 million individually resolved stars.

Under favorable conditions, the galaxy can be seen with the naked eye as a fuzzy object in the constellation of the Triangle. Unlike other galaxies, dust is distributed throughout it. "Astronomers think that in the Local Group, Triangulum has been something of an introvert, isolated from frequent interactions with other galaxies while keeping busy producing stars along organized spiral arms", another statement said. To stitch together this very big mosaic, Hubble's Advanced Camera for Surveys needed to create 54 separate images.

This is the second-largest image ever released by Hubble and shows Triangulum's central region as well as its inner spiral arms.

In the past, star-formation histories in the Local Group have been measured one galaxy at a time, often using different analysis techniques. Astronomers hope that the new image, along with previous surveys taken of the Andromeda and Milky Way galaxies, will help them gain a deeper understanding of stellar evolution in the Local Group and beyond.

Hubble, the trusty space telescope that has been delivering gorgeous views of the cosmos for decades now, just delivered another gift.

For those who get a flu shot and still contract influenza , symptoms tend to be milder and not last as long, research has shown. Thirteen flu-related deaths have been reported nationally by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The Andromeda Galaxy was mapped by Hubble in 2015, creating the sharpest and largest image of this galaxy and the largest Hubble image ever. To create the image, Hubble snapped 54 individual photos of the galaxy.

Most notably, Triangulum's star formation is 10 times more intense than in the comparable Hubble panorama of the neighboring Andromeda.

Triangulum Galaxy is also characterised by a huge amount of dust and gas and dust, which enables it to form stars at a rapid rate - about one solar mass in every two years.

The abundance of gas clouds in the Triangulum Galaxy is precisely what drew astronomers to conduct this detailed survey.

The glowing blue areas show where stars are being born, such as in the nebulas of hot, ionized hydrogen gas like star-forming region NGC 604 in the upper left.

As the junior member of this trio, the Triangulum Galaxy provides the valuable comparisons and contrasts that only a close companion can.
