Reports about a new Direct airing this week surfaced last weekend following teases from a Nintendo Insider.
Following recent rumours, Nintendo has confirmed that they will be holding their first mainline Nintendo Direct presentation of 2019 tomorrow, February 13.
The House of Mario revealed that a Nintendo Direct for February 2019 will be taking place on Wednesday February 13 at 10pm United Kingdom time. On February 13, 2019, people will be able to watch a 35 minute video going over some of Nintendo's new games.

Thousands demand Pedro Sanchez resign, during right-wing rally
The Catalan groups want a referendum on independence included on the agenda, which Madrid will not accept. If Sanchez is unable to approve his budget, he could call elections before his term is over in 2020.
It's also been claimed that Nintendo has a "bunch of Switch announcements coming this year" such as a 2D Zelda and a Pikmin game for the Switch.
But it's unclear whether these games will get revealed in the rumoured February 2019 Nintendo Direct or a later one. Fire Emblem is now slated for a spring 2019 release, so hopefully we'll get a proper release date. Metroid Prime 4 is in the works as well, but with development having been handed off to Retro Studios, who rebooted the project, it's safe to say we won't see a new Metroid for at least a year.
Video game stories from other sites on the web. It will focus on Nintendo Switch games, with the Nintendo 3DS not mentioned.
