  • Apple announces its own credit card

The company also offered a physical, titanium Apple card to be used in locations where the Apple Card is not accepted.

Today, the tech giant announced it's releasing a credit card created to work with the iPhone and its Wallet app.

For all purchases made through the Apple store, iTunes, or other Apple related products, a three percent cash back has been offered. There was also an adventure title called Where Cards Fall, which the developers describe as "a personal coming-of-age story that most publishers wouldn't take a chance on", and they admit "most people typically wouldn't see it unless Apple Arcade existed". The rewards are added as cash to at the end of each day, and can be used to pay the card or make more purchases, or be sent to family and friends. And it really is cash. And while on your iPhone or iPad iOS severely limits the way you can tinker around with apps, when using the desktop version of News+ things are quite different. The credit card service will bring new features in Apple Wallet which is aimed to help consumers track their expenditure with a monthly purchasing trend breakdown. However, the company is also preparing to provide the rest of the services to the users along with their smartphones. With more and more emphasis on polishing the already existent technology, Apple is redefining classic problems with modern solutions. The focus on "quality storytelling" is consistent with Apple's image and analysts say is likely to produce some hit shows.

That includes tying up with some of the biggest names in the media industry to allow for a rich source of entertainment stuff that the buyers can have at their disposal.

Apple claims Arcade will launch with a roster of "over 100 new and exclusive games" and cited creators like Hironobu Sakaguchi, Ken Wong, Will Wright as being headline acts. Purchases from Apple will attract 3% cash back, and all physical card purchases will be rewarded with 1% cash back, Apple said. And while that's valid for only the first few pages of each issue, Steve noticed that Apple News+ also downloads a list of all the pages with their unique URLs, which are hosted publicly and can, therefore, be accessed directly once you have the specific address. Let's take a look at everything we know about the card.

The Apple Card is completely controlled by the Apple Wallet app where all authorization information is stored. Also, there is going to be the nearly legendary Apple assurance of adhering to the highest order of security and privacy to ensure user's data does not become the fodder for running targeted ad campaigns. With how seamless Apple made its credit card, coupled with the status surrounding its use, the "chip" card would not make a lot of people "better".

She expected Apple TV+ to be more of a channel at its streaming video service, similar to an HBO, than to be a "one-stop-shop" that would stand alone.

The new Apple feature will be available to owners of the company's later iPhone models, possibly those that support FaceID and TouchID.
