  • Brady throws to suspended Gordon in workout

Gordon played in 11 games for the Patriots last season, totaling 40 receptions for 720 yards and three touchdowns before he was suspended indefinitely by the NFL on December 20 for violating the terms of his conditional reinstatement under the league's substance abuse policy.

In an extremely artsy video posted to Brady's Instragram account on Wednesday, the QB is shown throwing a pass to Gordon.

In late March at the NFL's annual meetings, commissioner Roger Goodell addressed how the league was working through the process of Gordon's indefinite suspension.

The NFL has remained mum on his status as the season approaches.

Gordon played 11 games for the Patriots, catching 40 passes for 720 yards and three touchdowns, before he announced he was stepping away to deal with mental health issues. He's surgical in the offseason, and I highly doubt he'd be getting Gordon involved if he didn't think he'd have him for the season. The Browns were preparing to release Gordon before they received a fifth-round pick from New England.

Minicamp is over and training camp isn't for another month, which means that the only New England Patriots news of the day Wednesday may be this Instagram post from Tom Brady. Gordon's face isn't visible in the clip, but ESPN confirmed Brady was throwing to Gordon on Tuesday.
