Brentford have completed the signing of Danish midfielder Mathias Jensen from Celta Vigo and are close to selling defender Ezri Konsa to Aston Villa.

The Villa Park outfit are pressing the accelerator on their summer transfer business as they prepare for life in the top flight under boss Dean Smith.

And now, Dean Smith's side are keen on bringing back another player who was impressive on loan previous year - Manchester United's young central defender, Axel Tuanzebe.

Speaking to Villa's official website of the U20 World Cup victor, Smith said: "Ezri fits the profile of the type of player we were searching for".

Tuanzebe has come through the Manchester United academy and spent one and a half seasons with Aston Villa on loan at the Championship.

Ahead of linking up with his new team-mates, Konsa himself revealed his excitement at sealing a move to a Premier League side.

After a tough start which involved him moving to a couple of clubs and having to go through a pair of temporary spells away, Trezeguet looks to have settled in Turkey, although it is understood that he has been told he can leave should a reasonable offer be received.

Konsa will travel on Thursday to meet up with the rest of his new squad in America as the Villans continue their pre-season preparations for the upcoming Premier League campaign.
