  • Heart-wrenching footage of mountaineers' final moments

The 1 minute 55 second clip released by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) on Monday reveals the eight climbers roped collectively as they seize steps up an unnamed height.

Indian authorities have confidence released a video exhibiting the final moments of a team of climbers whose bodies were recovered in the Himalayas.

Seven bodies were recovered but Briton Martin Moran remains missing.

Mountaineer Ruth McCance, from Sydney, was on an expedition that was hit by an avalanche.

They were being led by British mountain guide Martin Moran and were attempting to reach the top of an unclimbed peak in a remote area. Seven out of eight bodies were recovered on June 23, found around 5,000 meters above sea level.

The climber who shot the video, who is last in the queue, moves the camera around not just to capture the team's journey to one of the most hard mountains peaks in the Indian Himalayan ranges, but also the scenic view of the ranges covered with a white blanket of snow.

New Zealand stun India by 18 runs to reach World Cup final
That brought Dhoni and Jadeja together and they almost saw India home in an improbably nerve-racking finish in Manchester. Sharma, the Cricket World Cup's top run-scorer with 648, edged Matt Henry behind off the fourth ball of his innings.

At one point a loud noise can be heard in the background before the screen suddenly goes blank. The peaks and ranges of the Himalayas are very handsome and trekkers and mountaineers like them a lot.

On June 3, a military helicopter spotted the bodies and climbing equipment in the snow but several attempts to airlift the bodies away were aborted due to fierce winds and the hard terrain.

Indian police deputy inspector general APS Nambadia said: "It was mesmerizing for us to see the footage".

The last moments of Perthshire climber killed in a Himalayan avalanche have been captured on film. Since so few have managed to climb it, the mountain has remained pristine, unlike the littered and congested Everest.

The clip is now being venerable to support "analyse what went atrocious with their mission".

On June 3, a military helicopter spotted the bodies and climbing equipment in the snow but several attempts to airlift the bodies away were aborted due to fierce winds and the hard terrain. Expert climbers dispatched by ITBP eventually brought the bodies down on foot, "with respect and dignity".
